Hoxton Live IX

Happy Christmas Hoxton Live!

What a merry brigade of music for your special ears at this the most wonderful time of the year.

Two Merry Special Interviews in the show also:

The Joy Formidable's Ritzy joins us for a chat and BBC Sound of 2012 nominee's Friends - Sam also in conversation recorded at Hoxton Bar and Grill in September.

We'll spin their amazing new single 'Friend Crush' and details of the up and coming London shows in February at XOYO & Lexington.

Continuing with 2011's *sound shapes* - the songs that've shaped your smiles this year like Cold War Kids, Yuck, Anna Calvi an the aptly festive Sleigh Bells.

We've also got an Awesome Brand Spanking New Summercamp Christmas song along with a few other sparkly candle like sounds which I snow you'll like.

Special festive thanks to all who have contributed this year especially you.

I wanna be your friend @ Edge Music London #x

Freezing Fridays fleeing from me
I’ve seen you around I don't know what you think of me
The colors in the air never scared you like they should
I saw it in your face so i told you and you understood

I wanna be your friend
I wanna ask your advice on a week day
I wanna plan something for the week end
I wanna be your friend
oooh I wanna ask you advice on a week day
I wanna plan something nice for the week end

Sustained means some Sunday so are we

People speak out - what they told me
The stories in your hair that you’re carryin’out for me
Like you’re lying if i said that i didn’t want to laid it

aah-aaah-aah iii wanna be your friend
I wanna ask you advice on a week-dayyy

Sky News Radio AM Wrap 4-12

With the morning sport, here's The Preshaah.

This was sent to 300+ radio stations today did you hear it? Great, if not then listen again, I won't spoil it if you don't know the scores look away now.

Was working across the sports desk all afternoon yesterday, it was a lot of fun. First time back since the opening day of the soccer season and I was drafted in pretty last minute.

Couldn't have come at a better time after the last week and my comrades were really positive about my performance on quite a personal level.

Its thrown up some nice confusion that I should give this all a push again, I've been sending out a few demo's and this one will serve a purpose.

Press play.
